Breaking the world record for scaling the world's largest volcano, climbing Mount Everest and exploring the world with Karina Oliani

Medical doctor, Adventurer, and TV presenter Karina Oliani is the first South American woman to climb Mount Everest from both the North and South sides.  She was accompanied by Pemba Sherpa, Chairman of Adventure Ascent during both Everest ascents. Karina Oliani also became the 1st person to get through the largest lava lake on earth.
She has had an adventurous spirit from a very young age and a desire to set new personal records. At age 12 she made her first parachute jump (double) and completed her scuba diving course. And in 1999, at age 17, she was already a two-time Brazilian wakeboarder. Besides those, Karina has also practiced many other sports, among them rock climbing, motocross, canoeing, stand-up paddle, abseiling, horseback riding, surfing, snowboarding, mountaineering, hang gliding, parachuting, and Bungee jumping. In her journey to pursue adventures, she has always loved and one of the things that makes her the happiest is being able to help others. She has been of immense help in the local project to rebuild Patle School. Karina being a person with an adventurous spirit, medical expertise and a loving heart makes her well suited for the role of advisory board member. Adventure ascent highly values her support and advice.
